Feedback from interviews with Joe drove the initial concepting. Stronger handles, easier to read knobs, and lots of chrome were the priority. Life on the road is hard on equipment so it must be rugged.
The final design used custom knobs and a two piece faceplate. The front uses two of the same plates rotated 180º to create Satriani’s signature “S.”
